Guadalupe County

 The Town of Vaughn is a member of the South East Regional Planning Organization due to District 2 having one of their maintenance crews stationed there.  The town receives and applies for their maintenance and road funding assistance through District 2 and therefore, remains in SERPO. 

The county's average annual rainfall is 13.7 inches per year and the average low temperature is 38.9 degrees F. The average high temperature is 77.2 degrees F. and the elevation is 5,970 feet above sea level. The size of the county is 3,032 square miles. The county is home to the following communities: Santa Rosa and Vaughn, Anton Chico, La Loma, Dilia, Colonias and Puerto de Luna.

Santa Rosa has long been a haven for those who love the water. Among the natural attractions of Santa Rosa is the famous "Blue Hole." Many have called Blue Hole "Nature's Jewel" because of its great clarity. It is a deep natural artesian spring which remains a constant 64°F all year.
